I did get some advice to set the collar on shock initially, then just use vibrate after the dog learns what the collar is for. I did not want to hurt my dog who is 12lbs so I used a low setting for the shock. Collar has different levels which is nice. When the dog barks it beeps, vibrates and shocks in that order. After the first shock I switched it to vibrate, no more barking the last two months.

This collar worked great on my dog. I love that it has a way to adjust the settings higher or lower to fit your needs. My dog will not bark with it on. I did have to adjust mine down because it would pick up on loud noises and start buzzing. Since I adjusted it, there has been no issues.

I love this collar! My 1 dog barks at every little noise in our house day or night. Works like a charm, so much so that I purchased 2 more for my other 2 dogs just incase. Battery life is great and the adjustable straps stay once set at right setting.

I have several mini schnauzers when one bark they all go nuts put it on one within hours they all quit barking take off much better only back when they should and when I say stop they do. love this thing never used remote works at low setting on vibrate.

I like that you can adjust the settings and alternate between levels, shock, and vibration. He responded very well to the collar and now rarely barks. I also liked that the collar was adjustable, I just cut the extra cord that I didn¡¯t need. Highly recommend this for any size dog!
