Some people claim that other dogs barking will set it off. This may be true, however if another dog is barking, maybe that dog needs one as well? Plus, if you set the sensor to the right setting, this should not occur. We have found the sensor setting at 3 to be most effective.

So I do really like the collar it¡¯s been good for my baby girl. She is very vocal and I just wanted to try something different to see if it would help. It¡¯s seems painless and typically her collar doesn¡¯t need to go past the vibration. I say to keep the directions because changing the settings can be a pain if you forget how to do it and need to adjust it. I was worried that it wasn’t going to fit my pup because she is on the smaller side but even after I cut the collar there was still enough left to go smaller if I needed too.

I by no means like to use devices like this. But when my dogs would wake me up at 6am every morning, and wouldn’t stop barking even after I’d feed them and take them outside, I had no choice. It fixed the problem right away. They only got shocked 1 time. Once I put the collar on them for the night, they no longer bark. Even now when I don’t put it on, they still no longer bark early mornings. Definitely recommend if you need to fix a barking habit.

This is a great training tool/bark deterrent. Effective for our rescued and abused dog, who has fear aggression PTSD and barks her brains out at anyone who pulls into the driveway (With 2 high school kids, people are pulling into the driveway non-stop!). This does not hurt our dog or traumatize her in any way- when the collar comes out of the drawer, she knows we¡¯re going to have company and she needs to behave.

We use these when we leave for the day and when the puppy won¡¯t stop barking throughout the day and it works great! There are different modes and the battery lasts for a while (we only charge them once a week)My dog has never gotten beyond the first level of noise. It stops him in his tracks. My dog is small, about 12 pounds. I fit the collar around her neck and sized it to be just barely tight enough to stay in place. Had to cut off a loooong length of collar strap. She trotted over to bark at the sleeping cat. Bark-beep-vibrate. She looked around. Bark-beep-vibrate. Shook her head. Looked at the cat. Went and got a drink of water and ate some dogfood. A grasshopper jumping outside got a bark, noisy children on the sidewalk rated 3 barks. By the end of a couple hours only the doorbell ringing was worth barking at. I removed the collar and she stayed mostly quiet until the next day. She was her normal barky self. Put the collar on, she didn’t say away from it at all. Left it on for another couple hours and that was it. Her constant barking is now reduced to a few barks here and there if she deems something important enough. Over the past few weeks I’ve put the collar back in her maybe 5 times. And that’s enough to quiet her down.

I absolutely love this collar. My friend actually got me onto this collar. She had one for her dog. I was visiting her with my dog, and my dog kept barking while at her house. It was driving me insane. She said, ¡°Why don¡¯t you try this out on your dog.¡± So I did. And I love it. It has three different settings. When my dog barks it beeps, if she keeps barking it vibrates, and if she keeps barking it zaps her. There are different levels to those beeps, vibrates and zaps as well. Which I really like.

I found the lowest setting works really well because it makes a sound, then vibration then mild shock. After a few days showing the dogs the collar works half the time to stop the barking, but if I am working at the computer I just put them on and I have no barking interruptions. This is really important during zoom meetings. once set, they stay at the setting when you turn them back on.the switches are touch sensitive, so no pressing, just a touch to adjust. the charge lasts a long time and I am pleased with the purchase.
